What happens if a deal does not reach its target
Last updated 25 August 2026
Sometimes a deal will not reach its target. A title does not find its group, a publisher cannot hold the price, or not enough people commit before the deadline.
When that happens the deal does not close, no order is created, and every token is refunded in full — automatically, to the method it was paid with. You do not have to apply, there is no form, and there is no window you can miss by not noticing in time.
You will be told what happened and why.
The deadline shown on a deal page is real. It is not a countdown that quietly resets when nobody is looking, and a deal that has passed its deadline without reaching its target is closed rather than extended in the hope that a few more people arrive.
